IMA iRO3

Commercial reverse osmosis 3 m3/h

Compact reverse osmosis unit in self-supporting steel frame for a salt content of less than 3000 mg/l

IMA-iRO industrial desalination systems have been developed to obtain high quality purified water with a continuous 24 h/day operation.

The design of our membrane desalination plants is focused on guaranteeing a long operating life.

IMA iRO 3m3/h

  1. PRODUCTION: 3000 l/h
  2. RECOVERY: 75% depending on SS feed and temperature parameters.
  3. POWER: 4 Kw - Single 380/400V 50Hz connection
  4. MEMBRANES: 3/80x40

Specifications common to all models:

  • FEED WATER PRESSURE: Minimum 1 kg/cm.
  • MAXIMUM OPERATING PRESSURE: 18 kg/cm2.
  • MAXIMUM INLET WATER PRESSURE: 6 kg/cm2.
  • FEED WATER TEMPERATURE: Minimum 10ºC Maximum 30ºC.
  • MAXIMUM WATER SALINITY: 2000 mg/l (for higher salinities consult us).
  • PREFILTRATION: Particles up to 5 microns.

Standard features of the IMA iRO 3 m3/h systems:

MICROFILTRATION:

Composed of a standard width cartridge filter, whose mission is the filtration of the particles present in the water.

  • Filtration: 5 microns.

  • Removes smaller particles that can damage the membranes.

  • Easy to handle housing for replacement of cartridges when necessary.

HIGH PRESSURE PUMP:

Centrifugal pump that ensures that the right pressure is automatically maintained for the osmotic process to take place efficiently.

REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE:

  • Polyamide membranes, spiral wound with high rejection of salts and harmful compounds. Our membrane models use the latest technologies on the market to guarantee durability and efficiency.

  • High rejection of salts of different characteristics
  • Membrane designed for long life and easy cleaning (over 3 years life, if cleaning requirements are followed).

PRESSURE VESSELS:

  • Pressure vessels manufactured with hot cured epoxy resin matrix and glass fibre as reinforcement, a combination that provides the best mechanical conditions.
  • Seals made of proven corrosion resistant materials: hard anodised aluminium, stainless steel and thermoplastic materials.
  • Easy to change and durable assembly.
  • Working pressure: 12,00 bar.

INSTRUMENTATION AND PROTECTION FEATURES:

  • High pressure gauges (0 to 20 bar) with glycerine inside, made of stainless steel.
  • Low pressure gauges (0 to 6 bar) with internal glycerine, stainless steel.
  • High and low pressure gauges in 316L stainless steel. The low pressure switch does not allow the pump to start if the water supply does not have sufficient pressure. The high pressure switch does not allow the HIGH PUMP to work at a higher pressure than recommended.
  • Counts hours of operating time. It allows to know the required maintenance according to the hours of operation of the system.
  • Osmosis production conductivity meter. Installed in the produced water pipe of the plant, it allows us to control, in continuous, the quality of the produced water.
  • AUTOMATIC - MANUAL switch for manual operation or by means of the level probes of the produced water tank.
  • General switch. STOP / START.
  • All electrical connections watertight.
  • IP-54 metal electrical cabinet. All electrical control according to EC and IMO regulations. The wiring includes numbered nomenclature for better identification of each cable.

STRUCTURE:

  • Stainless steel structures for an extraordinary life.
  • Component layout for easy serviceability. Modular structure is designed to be adaptable to available space.
  • Pre-osmosis filtration system as well as, the dosing system is supplied in isolation to be installed individually in the water line.

CONNECTIONS:

  • Water inlet and outlets with F connections.
  • All high pressure piping with the highest corrosion resistance.
  • All water pipes and connections produced with food grade.
