Industrial glass filters have been developed based on numerous tests with the objective of having a product that has the maximum capacity to remove harmful solids and heavy metals from water. The glass based filter bed reduces the levels of solids and SDI from the water at a rate up to 10-15 times higher than traditional filter media. These industrial filters provide microfiltration capacity down to 0.5 micron without causing clogging.
