Manual filters for the treatment of iron and manganese in water by means of Katalox iron removal filter beds.

All filters to remove iron and manganese are prepared for simple operation and minimum maintenance. As they have a system of manual valves, they do not require connection to the electrical network, being sufficient with a supply of 2 bar from the feed pump.

Manufacturing characteristics of iron and manganese removal filters

• Connections:
  • 4 inch Filters diameter 780mm.
  • 6 inches filters diameter 1088,1250,1600mm.
• Maximum working pressure 150 psi.
• Working temperature 0ºC to 35⁰C.
• Katalox filter: Recommended PH 6-9.
• If Fe+Mn concentration is greater than 0.5 ppm. Additional oxidation treatment may be necessary.
• Body constructed of fiberglass reinforced polyester.
• Manual opening/closing valves for working and flushing.
• Internal distributors suitable for the design flow rate.
• Complete with KATALOX filtering load.

• Valve front with inlet/outlet control gauges. 
• KATALOX filter bed.
• Discharge mouth for replacement of 4-inch filtering bed in 1088, 1250 and 1600 diameter filters.
• Upper and lower strainer kit.
