Automatic valves active carbon filter
[ 17 - 27 m3h filtration range ]
IMA water's larger industrial activated carbon filters are manufactured in diameters from 780 to 1600 mm. Covering a wide range of flow rates for declaration projects, anti-odor, removing taste, pesticides and organic matter from drinking water and wastewater.
This model of automatic activated carbon filters is manufactured with an automatic valve front that is in charge of controlling the periodic washing of the carbon filter media. They are specially designed to be installed in urban and industrial water engineering projects.
Some of its main applications are:
- Installation in industrial activities for the adequacy of mains or well water.
- Filtration by activated carbon in combination with other technologies for IMA water treatment plants.
- Activated carbon filters for wastewater treatment.
All these applications have in common the need to install an automated filtering system that works together with the rest of the installed equipment, in order to treat water with a high load of chlorine, solids, turbidity and organic matter.
